Testimonials

"I love everything about Lynnina... The fabrics are fun & vibrant, and the separate pieces are current & hip. I purchased 2 of the longer boardshorts & 2 coordinating rashguards. All are extremely comfortable & true to size. I plan to wear this combination river rafting, boating on Lake Tahoe, and even just running to the store."  - Ann Arabian

"I have never found a tankini top that is so flattering. Usually they're so short that they don't cover enough of my tummy, and also the quality of the fabric is beautiful." - Kathleen Hamon

"I love my Lynnina swimwear. It's fitted, flattering and fun! The Italian fabric is of very high quality." - Cheryl M.

"....I don't think I've ever been SO happy to learn about a startup in my life.  I'm a writer--I write about excellence in business--and there have been plenty of swell companies over the years, but none that was (truly) an answer to a decades-long wish--that somebody would design swimwear for women around boardshorts--fabulous to look at, and as covered up as you want to be.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!  I'll never even look at another swimsuit again, and when I have my Lynninas, all my other ones are getting tossed.  Your designs and fabric choices are spectacular.  Next up for me: rashguards. - Nancy K. Austin

"...bright colors, stylish and chic designs with everyday outdoor practicality in mind!" - R. Collins

"I love the colors, fabrics and fit of the board shorts and bathing tops. Fabrics are soft and comfortable. I like the longer length, too."

- Lisa Auerbach

"I will most assuredly be spreading the word about your incredible products!  I haven't been happy with a bathing suit in YEARS and avoided swimming in public. Your suits are exactly what I have been looking for!  You've hit the nail on the head and fulfilled your objective. I'm thrilled."        - Linda Rutledge

"Like so many of your fans, when I found these board shorts, I was thrilled! I got a pair in both the Palm Print and Chocolate Brown.  I had them shortened a tad and they have been my favorites; I wear them all the time, including for bike rides.  They are perfect for "timing" at swim meets I regularly attend with my son--they dry so quickly.

I have inadvertently given my Chocolate pair a real test: Last Thursday I was hiking with a friend (I see you are in Corte Madera so you probably know the Phoenix Lake area) and we were on a single track in a very steep canyon. My foot hit a cluster of dry bay leaves and slipped forward which was toward the slope. Down I went and after my first bounce, I realized I was continuing to fall. Like Alice in Wonderland, I was falling, falling and there was nothing to stop me ... I was really sliding on my backside. Like a luge without the sled, down I went. My friend called to me, "try to grab anything!" and I tried but the tiny ferns I passed were of no use. I saw a big redwood tree between me and the drop off to the rocks of the stream bed below and I aimed my feet toward it, keeping them slightly bent so they'd absorb the impact safely. Amazingly, the slough that accumulates on the upside of a tree created just enough drag to allow me to stop gently at the tree.

After assessing the situation and determining there was no way to get out safely, my friend called the Park Rangers and when they came, they belayed me down. While scratched and bruised, I'm in fairly good shape. My shorts were remarkable....after a long slide down very rough terrain, they have only a few rips and even protected my cell phone in the pocket! So, I was glad I had them on but, as you can imagine, very sad that they are ripped. I so love these, I am asking if I could have a piece of the fabric to have spliced in to replace the ripped area on the backside? I'd be very grateful."- Susan Peterson

[Note from Lynnina- After reading Susan's miraculous story, we immediately sent her the piece of fabric she needed!]
